Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin will preside over the Ministerial Conference of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) in Geneva on 24 June. Together with the responsible ministers of the EFTA countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, he will discuss in particular the future prospects of free trade policy in an increasingly difficult trade environment. The modernised free trade agreement with Chile will also be signed on the margins of the ministerial conference.
